Don't Go Far From Here

Yesterday i was feeling a bit fussing about being cooped up all day while the weather was so beautiful, so i decided to catch what was left of the day, and went for a small adventure. I ended up going to Long Beach and taking a quick stroll down Retro Row. While i was there i decided to cruise around the neighborhood to get the lay of the land since i am considering hunkering down and finding my own perfect little vintage apartment! However, i left empty handed and didn't quite find THE perfect little cocoon to call home, but before dinner i stopped off at the park to snap a few photos of what i wore for the day. Unfortunately i ended up breaking that necklace shortly after i took these photos, but now i have a reason to go on a hunt for new jewelry! So maybe a win after all.

  9. I think Retro Row is too expensive and kind of pretentious. Try going to the Long Beach East Village Arts District. In particular, Downtown Darlings (3rd and Elm). There's a couple other reasonably priced vintage stores right around there too. For a bite to eat/drink, try the new coffee shop, the Green House (149 Linden Ave).
